Think about this method for professional development , especially for reflection and evaluation. Is it a viable alternative? Why or Why not? 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

It's easy. The only problem I forsee is having the time to do it. Can we do it when we have the opportunity (without short time restraints)? We might need alternative measures for those who aren't comfortable using computers.

Time is one of the greatest advantages of this method, participants can work on it on their own time. Perhaps a long range time , but otherwise flexible. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Nora,
I think this website is a great idea and a great way to share thoughts and activities. Thanks for asking me to be a part of this.

I really think it is a matter of DOING. Most who are reluctant will never overcome their doubts until they actually try it. Once one becomes comfortable in the environment, then it is a piece of cake! Nora Do you find this valuable?

Well, I commented once but under my name instead of yours. Part of the learning process, huh? I can forsee many uses for this web site. I appreciate the posting of the Tier 3 "tools" since we all didn't receive a flash drive. I'm looking forward to reviewing it again once I get my new laptop! Hopefully it will have powerpoint on it. Thank you. Do you find this valuable?

I can see the problem with time constraints. I prefer face to face meetings, but I can see the benefits of this format when that is not possible. -AA Do you find this valuable?

I will be interested in hearing what others may say on this issue. Reality is not always what we thought it would be. I believe all teachers want to move forward and use all the technology we can. Technology is a wave of the future and our children are our future. Demaina Do you find this valuable?

This is o.k. for reflection or evaluation, however I need to see people talk to get involved in the discussion. Do you find this valuable?

Alleviates travel time; requires "remembering" to visit the wiki. I like being able to share when convenient for me and the opportunity to "hear" from many. Do you find this valuable?

I think it is a viable alternative and I like the fact that it can be accessed at any time. However, I still like being able to have face to face discussions. Do you find this valuable?
