Whitesville finished our training on Dibels this past week. I understand the need for progress monitoring. On page 11 of Our book
What is the Three -Tier Reading Model it states we should do fall screening plus winter and spring progress monitoring. On tier 2 progress monitoring twice a month on target skill to ensure adequate progress and learning. This is not what I understood from our Dibels training.
Page 19 (c ) states ongoing professional development to provide teachers with the necessary tools to ensusre every student receives quality reading instruction. Is our county going to provide this for all teachers?
